Yokohama is Japan's largest incorporated city and second most populous urban area after Tokyo. Yokohama developed as Japan's prominent city following the end of Japan's isolation, and is today one of its major ports.

Yokohama covers an area of 168.8 sq. miles (437.4 sq. Km) and is estimated to have a population of 3.6 million people being the capital of Kanagawa Prefecture, located in the Kantō region and is a major commercial hub of Japan.

Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan with a population of 3.6 million people. The city has two professional teams, the Yokohama BayStars (baseball) and the Yokohama F. Marinos (football/soccer…depending on who you talk to).

It is a modern city with many skyscrapers, and beautiful parks. Yokohama is famous for China Town. This has stores that sell many items (Pandas are a major feature) and delicious Chinese Restaurants. The Ramen Museum is also a fun place to stop at.

Other points of interest include an amusement park with a huge Ferris wheel and a couple of roller coasters. Yokohama has an amazing night view which can be seen from the Landmark Tower. The city is beautiful and a joy to walk around at anytime.
